Sorry about this, but I didn't use this for a laptop. I am good and sick and tired of my Raspberry Pi 4's complaining about low voltage or current. That lightning bolt in the corner of the screen just aggravates me to no end. I even have an official Pi power supply on a Pi 3, and I see that icon on occasion. This PS worked perfectly. Of course it is way overkill for a Pi, but often a PS without any load at all will run surprisingly hot. Not here. This supply ran at room temperature, even though I had a "demanding" Linux app running full bore for many hours. The Pi stayed cooler than what I had seen, and this QYD supply remained untaxed.No wasteful heat generation here, even under a light load, so certainly will work well in a naturally intermittent charging application.
