Nice, slim, lightweight but long lasting portable charger. Besides the built in cables it also has other ports so I was also able to charge my apple watch. I'm pleased with how quickly it charges my iPhone, my apple watch and my air pods. It also recharges itself quite swiftly.I give this product 5 stars based on fit, form, and function. I have a Samsung S7 with a Seidio case and this charger footprint is exactly the same as that of the phone. So when pairing them up together for charging, the phone just got doubled in thickness, but still fit fine in my hand. Refer to the improvement section to enhance the use of this product.Functions: Both outputs charge as advertised, with the orange UBS port charging at fast rate. My S7 doesn't support QC 3.0, but does accept fast charging. I have been able to bring the phone to full charge from 15% in less than an hour. The other USB port also charges but just at regular rate, no fast charge is detected from the phone. The power bank can be charged up quickly using an external QC3.0 AC Adapter. It seems that the power bank got full charge from 1 light in about 45 minutes (sorry I didn't think about timing this, but the power bank got charged really quick). The LED lights are helpful to determine the condition of charge left in the power bank.Form: I like the high tech look of the black casing. One thing I noticed is that the printing on the case is so stealthy that it's hard to read. One has to turn it to the right angle to the light to see the rating and printing on the case. I suppose this can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. I have many other power banks, but this one has the best form because it's not very thick and not very heavy. The form allows me to drop it into one of the pockets of my backpack, and now it's neatly stored. The orientation of ports is spot on, very convenient to charge the power bank or the phone.Improvement Recommended: (1) The power bank comes with a UBS cable that is too long for its purpose; the cable is about 18 inches. When using this cable for charging the phone, it's inconvenient because the cable snags up on other things. I think that this is done deliberately because this cable can be reversed to charge the power bank, but I think most of us who travel would have plenty of long USB cables already. I improve this by buying 2 2-inch USB cables (from Anker, well made cables) and these shorter cables are perfect to use to charge the phone. There is another option of 3-inch cable by Tech&Go as well (cable is thinner than Anker cable). If Yoobao could include these shorter cables with the power bank, that's a GREAT improvement. (2) I have a thin metal plate (circle) adhered to the back of my phone casing for mounting the phone to my car vent mount. So I found on Amazon a thin flat circle 1-1/4" magnet, that I glued it to the back of the power bank. When I need to charge my phone I just dock the phone to the power bank just like I would when I am in the car. The two units stay together and I don't have to worry about one coming loose out of my hand. In a way, the silver shining magnet looks cool from the black background case. I am not sure if this is something Yoobao can do, but it's worth consideration.Look, this was a great investment for me personally. I do concert production for a living (I set up and break down concerts) the phone is old enough that I can still replace my own battery, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 old. That being said Note 4s have what's called "Fast Charge" what that means is instead of the (around) 5.2 volts normally used to charge your phone "Fast Charge" sends like 9.2 volts. Found this out with an in line USB Volt tester. Don't be fooled with amp talk, the rate your charge happens is with volts. Just thought I'd toss that out there for ya.This portable power supply has "Fast Charge" that means from a dead phone to like 75% is about 30 to 45 minutes not hours like other "Slow" chargers. This is great at the airport, no more scavenging around looking for a place to plug in my charger brick in to a wall or whatever. Speaking of airports, was in Detroit Michigan at the airport on my way home for a few days off before I would fly back, I was desperately looking for a battery backup like this. Found one that said "Fast Charge" paid $107.85 with warranty and such. Product DID NOT have "Fast Charge" I found out as my plane was taking off. Was furious about it, four days later I'm back in Detroit Michigan, receipt in hand to return faulty item, am told they did not take returns on batteries like this, I managed to get my money back, found this product.DO NOT BE FOOLED Samsung Galaxy owners, if you have "Fast Charge" this is the one for you, don't have the headache that I did...BUY THIS PRODUCT TODAY!Durability: so far so good. Charged phone, and iPad at the same time to full still had some power left to do another charge. I may just buy another as a backup. As of today 3rd October 2019, this product gets a solid A+ for now, time will tell. Will update as needed.UPDATE: After my review the brand reached out seeking to resurrect confidence in this product - and they've succeeded! They've sent a new power bank that works as stated in the description, making me very happy in the process. Unlike other brands I've had unfavorable results with, the rep I communicated with through email was genuinely open to listening on improvements while also gifting the new product with pure intentions to satisfy my needs in using the power bank - excellent customer service. Perhaps there are a few lemons circulating but really that is to be expected. As a business owner myself I understand how these things can go unnoticed though the truth of a brand is in how they serve their customers and Yoobao executed a resolution with grace. Thank you!Previous Review:This is for certain a product that I should've listened to the reviews... The power bank stays on for about 15 seconds then shuts off. I've monitored it for hours trying different things - different cords and methods and have arrived to the conclusion that other people were right, it's an extremely inconsistent product. As a heads up - to return this product you'll have to print a shipping label and wait for a week or two to get your money back, even if you request the funds be returned to your Amazon account balance. It was great when it worked. I kept it charged and used it once every few months, but after 2 years, it just died. doesnt hold a charge anymore. sadPerforms very well. Takes longer to charge, but the capacity is much bigger than others on the market for the same price. It is not too big and heavy. Great for travel and commuting. Has 2 ports so you could charge 2 devices and one of them supports fast charging. An absolutely brilliant product, so glad I bought this. I've been searching for almost two years for the perfect power bank as my days at work are quite lengthy and sometimes need to stay away overnight, I don't even bother taking my phone plug for the wall anymore as this is perfect for charging my phone multiple times without charging the bank up itself. The bank is compact and slim and attractive with the pattern and fits easily in a coat pocket or even back trouse pocket. Simply a must buy piece of kit - You will not regret it. I take it with me everywhere and charging it up only takes about an hour that gives my phone approximately 3-4 charges in one hit (I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ so this is pretty impressive). Very pleased with this product and shipping/packaging was very fast and efficient. Top marks.Love this - slightly bigger in size and weight than my iPhone 6S, but not uncomfortably so.Used to top up mine and my wife’s phones several times over a few days without needing to recharge the power bank.Seems durable, portable, and very powerful.Bought duding lightening deal, around £15. Bargain at that price, would still buy again at full price.Huawei smartphones can't be fast charged using most fast chargers as they use a special, rare fast charge protocol. You have to have the right charger that puts the right signal on the dataline (and a data cable not just a charge cable). This charger IS that sort (they are very rare). For my Huawei P10, I charged it using a USB charger lead that tells me the voltage and current (not necessary, I was just checking charge speed). With any normal charger it draws only 1 amp at 5.0 volts. When I used the red USB outlet (the fast charge one) on this charger, the special "high speed charge" double lightning sign comes on on my phone in the charge symbol area at top left of screen, and the widget I have tells me the charger has commenced charging my phone at 10 volts at 2 amps. It charges up amazingly fast in this mode. If you put the charger AND the phone next to each other in your pocket they do get hot, so I avoid that. If apart, each just gets warm but they cool OK. When low, my P10 used to discharge faster than it could charge, with this widget I can always charge it fully, fast.No other fast charger has ever worked for my Huawei P10, so this charger is a massively positive, life-transforming discovery. Just don't put charger and phone in same pocket on fast charge. They seem to get too hot. It’s great !!! I bought it for my husband as he using his phone a lot, and his phone battery is lasting only for few hours. This power bank is charging the phone much quicker than normal power source, and he has to charg it only once in a few days. It’s quite small and light too. I definitely recommend it!
