I purchased 2 of these I use them for all my GadgetsEasy to break If pressure is put on it very flimsy cheap constructionI am someone who truly puts data hubs to the test and I can say this is among the best that I have tested and reviewed.I currently have twelve 10TB external hard drives plugged into mine allowing me to access and transfer large amounts of data between them, my computer and my NAS - this hub has handled that with ease.This hub has performed absolutely perfectly. There are several features that it has that others in the class do not but make a huge difference when using a hub effectively.Transfer speeds are decent with this hub - while not as fast as those with USB 3.0 they are very good and the connections are always solid.The hub comes with all the hardware you need should you want to mount this on a surface. I mounted this within the cabinet that houses my external hard drives and have been very pleased with the performance.This is an outstanding hub that is made to last many years and perform at optimum efficiency without fail. This is an outstanding hub.Have a lot of non-storage USB devices? This can handle them all. This hub with a large number of ports is great for everything except USB 3.0+ storage devices. I use it to connect:1) Mouse2) Keyboard3) blu-ray DVD player/record4) HP 7740 wide format printer5) Epson Scan Snap SV800 (overhead scanner)6) Fujitsu 70000 fast wide format scanner7) USB speakers8) USB 2.0 data sticksI have run out of USB 2.0 devices to connect but not ports on this hub. For USB 3.0 and above data I use a Thunderbolt 3 Hub.Works great. No issues. Thanks a lot.Truly an industrial grade housing. Excellent power supply. Keep in mind this is USB 2.0 at 400 Mb/s - not USB 3.0 or 3.1. Connected to Windows 10 machine to all my USB devices, no problem. One overall power switch at the end of the box works well, but I like the strips that have individual power button per USB port. ISSUE: my box did not have a USB cable, but fortunately I had one laying around; knocked off 1 star as a result, but if the cable was included, I'd definitely give it 5 starts for this product.I got this hub so that I can transfer files from my desktop computer to my Surface Pro which has only USB C ports. It works really well for that purpose.Very light and versatile.They improve my work efficiency.
