My first venture into magnetic cables happened to be a winner, but they are no longer sold. They were called “Smart&Cool” you can still find the amazon store, and the straight version is on there but “Currently unavailable” (nextdot is the same). But many moons ago they had the right angle version, and that was simply the best. But overtime, they would get dirty. So I thought I could find something with better cleanability. I got one of those 9 pin magnetic cables (mine was JSAUX brand) that reminds me of the apple magsafe where its like mini pins and cups. It’s supposed to be 100w but it is not. Maybe that’s why they are no longer sold. I see the adapters on amazon but not the full cable (an adapter would be far too bulky). I decided to go with the popular choice, and got a few packs of the 5 min and 7 pin 540 rotating cables. They do not work with phone cases. I actually put the nib on the grinder to flatten the top and that is what me and my wife are currently using. So after a lot of scrolling, these cables I’m reviewing seem to be the best option.I had a charger that outputs 100w that I used to charge my SP4, but when I got a new laptop that charges via USB C at 90w, I found out none of my USB C cables were rated for 100w (USB C to A cables are all rated for 15w, USB C to C cables are all supposed to support 60w, they need a special chip in the cable to enable 100w or 240w, see the video "You're Probably Using the WRONG USB Charging Cable" by ThioJoe).I had that 100w cable meantioned above, but when I used it, my laptop says it was slow charging (in the intel panel, it showed around 60w charging). When I plugged in this cable, it did not yell about charging speed and it went over 60w.The HESKUL is slightly cheaper if you only want a 4ft right angle (no rotation). I would highly recommend to anyone to load up on the HESKUL and CNakdDG cables and convert all USB-C devices in the house. Buy plenty, because they might not be for sale in a year (even under a different name). I have not tried SHEEAST but they look compatible and have good options for buying single and double 4ft or 6ft cables.I just wish they made micro USB nibs, but I'll just use the cheaper 540 rotating cables on those, as less and less devices have them. I have looked and tried many 540 rotating magnetic cables that might work with phone cases, and they do not fit. I would not recommend any of them. These 100w cables are the way to go. I’ll need to get USB C female by USB A male adapters for things like android auto in the car. I’ll have my eye out for this cable with the adapter included (some 540 rotating ones have the adapters, so it may exist),Just a tip (pun intended)Search amazon for “100w magnetic cable” with no quotes, and it turns up these cables under a few different names, colors, lengths, and prices. “Krsende Magnetic Charging Cable 100W” does NOT look compatible, but has me interested since it has micro usb nibs and the c to a adapters.
