My Wife's new car needs her phone plugged into the USB port for it to work over the auto sound system. This cord is perfect for the job.This was perfect and was delivered over night to my hotel. A lot less than the Apple cable at Verizon or the Apple store and just as good.Very thick gauge wire and nice velcro tie built-in.great product but ordered this with the description saying it was made in a country I don't mind doing business with to find on the box it was made in a country (you know which one) I avoid doing business with. Kinda false information. May return yet.It works.Had problems with my car play connection, the Toyota dealer mechanic suggest me to get a good quality iPhone connector, so I got this Amazon Basics iPhone charger cable. Problem solved.Works perfectlyI use this product everyday in my car. My impression is that it works well, but it is falling apart, particularly at the lightening connector where the plastic has come completely loose exposing some of the inner components.I have always liked amazon basics products . With a few iphones in the house we get a lot of use from these. Of course it depends on how powerful your mains adapter is for this to charge but still a good product. I just hope wont stop working like other amazon cables that showed no physical damage just stopped chargingPoor quality. Not durable. Bought this cable six months ago. Use it at night when I go to bed to charge my phone. But it stopped working one month ago and no longer provides a charge to my phone. Had I known it would be such poor quality, I would not have bought it and certainly will not buy another “Amazon Basics” item.Took absolutely forever to arrive. Charges my phone.Broke within a monthAmazon basics range sounds great - but they have decided to present it in a fancy container so you end up fighting the sticky tape and wondering why a “basic” item needs this level of presentation.
